Harley Quinn

Photo of a Caucasian young woman with bleached white skin and blue eyes. Harley has an athletic body type, coming from her past as an acrobat. She has long blonde hair, usually in a pigtails style, which is dyed at the ends in blue and pink shades. She occasionally wears it down when she dresses up such as during the Legion of Doom party. Harley usually wears dark red lipstick, pink and blue eyeshadow, black mascara, and a demonic grin when she's ready to fight.

Saphira

Saphira's scales and eyes were the color of sapphires, often described in the book as intense blue that refracted the light. The radiating blue tone of her scales resulted in the nickname given to her by the elves, Saphira Brightscales. Her color, as described in the book, differed in the movie where she appeared a rather dull blue. Her vision was enhanced, for she was able to see blues more clearly and vibrantly than reds and greens. Her talons and spikes on her neck, back, as well as tail were bone-white. She had two serrated fangs that jutted out of her upper jaw onto her bottom lip slightly, as well as with all dragons, had white, sharp, knife-like, meat-shearing teeth. Her head was roughly triangular and she also possessed four cheek spines, slightly curved horns and forehead spines between her horns. Her body stature could be inferred as very aerodynamic and built for flying, and in Eldest, Oromis said that he had never seen a dragon so skilled at flying and naturally suited to the sky. Despite her young age she is one of the strongest dragons ever seen.

Thorn

Thorn is a stocky, compact dragon with exceptionally powerful muscles and limbs for his size. Initially, he was smaller than Saphira, most likely because he was younger, but sturdier in build, with thicker legs. He has since grown larger than Saphira and is described as being bigger than two houses, whereas Saphira is merely as big as one. Thorn's scales are described to be the red of wine held up to a light, and his eyes a sparkling ruby color, while his talons, teeth, and neck spikes are snow-white. He has two cheek spikes, fewer than either Saphira or Glaedr, as well as wide, crescent-shaped horns. His red eyes are split by black, vertical pupils. Thorn was missing three feet of his tail, as it was bitten off by Glaedr during Oromis's and Glaedr's final battle, Thorn's tail could not be reattached so instead the bones and muscle were stretched to be used as a tail. While Saphira was built for flying, Thorn's bulky shape seems to favor physical combat over speed. Thorn's size is due to Galbatorix's magic.

Firnen

FĂrnen and his scales were described as "the colors of forest leaves with the sun shining through them and the finest emeralds", becoming near-white at the base of his talons. Unlike Saphira and Thorn, his eyes are said to not be the same color as his scales; but, in fact, amber. It is unknown how he perceives the colors in his vision, although greens are likely more vibrant than other colors. His spikes are depicted as being white, although a darker shade than Saphira's. He was still young at the end of the Rider War, and so had a more gangly body than Saphira's, with thinner legs than Thorn or Glaedr.

Glaedr

Glaedr was a large, gold dragon with a deep, rumbling voice. As was the case with dragons, his body was very muscular and often appeared to be on fire due to its brightness. He was around three times the size of Saphira. His most distinguishing feature was his missing left leg, with a white stump in its place.
