Over the past 60 years, we have seen the evolution of the Advancement function in educational institutions across the world.
Today, Advancement professionals are the people in schools who are responsible for an ever-increasing set of complex functions and activities.
These functions are filled by large teams or fall on the shoulders of a single person.
So why do we do all of these things?
In the end, we came up with a simple definition.
It's all about advancing the organisation.
Literally helping it to move forward, by :
Telling the story of the school
Connecting with people and helping them find their place in that story
Managing a set of processes in support of the above
These are the pillars upon which everything we do is founded.
And we believe that, connected to each pillar, it is possible to identify a series of essential, irreducible, yet interrelated elements.
We’ve organised these elements into The Periodic Table of Advancement™.
