AutoPauseMiddleware
May 2025
Built a lightweight C# tool that detects when Cheat Engine (or similar tool) is focused and auto-pauses the target game.
Provides 3-tier pause logic: ESC key simulation, custom key simulation, or full OS-level process suspension using NtSuspendProcess.
Utilizes GetForegroundWindow, PostMessage, and P/Invoke with ntdll.dll to control process execution.
Solves the problem of memory editing in games that lack pause functionality — especially emulators or sandboxed apps.
Ensures memory integrity by freezing game state at system level, aiding in safe debugging and reverse engineering.
Built using WinForms, custom UI elements, and packaged as a standalone EXE with logo, branding, and configurable options.
Designed with a clear fallback workflow for reliability across diverse game environments.

Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School 2024 Challenge
From Oct 2024 - Nov 2024
I participated in the 2024 Compromised Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure Challenge, held by IDCSS, where I won 1st place. The objective of this competition was to analyze and respond to a complex cyber incident that impacted CyTrex Global Solutions, an IT services provider. The incident involved attackers exploiting a firewall vulnerability, gaining unauthorized access to sensitive data stored in cloud systems, and deploying ransomware that disrupted client services. In this collaborative project, our team addressed a simulated security breach at CyTrex Global Solutions, focusing on vulnerability management, incident analysis, and regulatory compliance.
Key Takeaways:
Governance & Policy Evaluation: We identified critical lapses in firewall and credential management policies that left systems vulnerable. Our recommendations included regular security audits and strengthened access controls, essential for proactive threat prevention.
Incident TTPs: Leveraging MITRE ATT&CK and NIST 800-61 frameworks, we identified the TTPs (tactics, techniques, and procedures) used in the attack, proposing defenses like multi-factor authentication, privilege management, and network segmentation to prevent lateral movement and reduce risk exposure.
Regulatory Compliance: To comply with CERT-IN and GDPR requirements, we developed a strategy for breach reporting, customer notification, and compliance. This approach emphasized transparent communication and strong data protection practices to mitigate potential legal and reputational impacts.
Incident Response Implementation: Using the NIST 800-61 lifecycle, we formulated a response plan covering detection, containment, and recovery. Our strategy aimed to strengthen CyTrex's resilience against future threats through proactive, well-coordinated incident response actions.
NetStar

Real-Time System Algo. Scheduler
Sept 2024
Developed a C program to evaluate the schedulability of real-time tasks with fixed-priority servers, diverse algorithms, and schedulability analysis, using Rate-Monotonic (RM), Deadline-Monotonic (DM), and Earliest Deadline First (EDF) scheduling algorithms, etc.
The tool analyzes task computation times, periods, and deadlines to assess their schedulability, employing key metrics like utilization factor, Liu-Layland bound, Hyperbolic Bound, Real Time Analysis (RTA) and Processor Demand Analysis (PDA).
Supports necessary and sufficient conditions for schedulability of each algorithm.
