Mypayreceipts (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Mypayreceipts mobile application (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and handled when you use the App.

By installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.

1. User Consent and Control

By using the Mypayreceipts App, you agree to the collection and use of data as described in this policy.

Before any user data is sent to a third-party AI service, the App presents a clear consent prompt.

Users must explicitly tap “Allow” before any data is transmitted.

• If the user selects “Don’t Allow”, the data is not sent

• AI-related features will be disabled until consent is granted

This consent is requested separately from this Privacy Policy.

2. Information You Provide

a. Receipt and Expense Data

• Receipt images captured using the camera

• Receipt images uploaded manually

• Extracted data (merchant name, date, totals, line items)

b. AI Assistant Data

• Text entered by the user in the AI Assistant feature

We only process data that you actively provide.

User Responsibility:
Users are responsible for the content they upload. Mypayreceipts is not responsible for inaccurate, sensitive, or unauthorized data submitted by users.

3. Automatically Collected Information

• Device information (model, OS version)

• App diagnostics (crash logs, usage statistics)

This data is used only to improve app performance and stability.

4. Permissions Used

• Camera: Scan receipts

• Storage: Save and retrieve receipt images

• Internet: Required for syncing and AI features

Location:
We do NOT collect or track location data.

5. Use of Information

We use data strictly to:

• Scan and process receipts

• Extract structured receipt information

• Provide AI Assistant responses

• Store and display receipts

• Improve app performance

• Maintain security

We do not use data for advertising or marketing.

• Users can delete receipts anytime within the app

• Data is retained only as long as necessary

• Users may request full data deletion via email

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect children’s data.

We may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the App means acceptance of updates.
