It is very important as Singapore has a very advanced education system. By using phonics, a child can read as young as 3.5 years old once they have grasped the technique of joining 3 and more sounds together. 

MyPace Phonics will be using the Montessori approach and the main materials used will be Jolly Phonics and Fitzroy readers. 

Montessori focuses on Phonemic Awareness with a much greater emphasis on the sounds that the letters make, in the order of frequent use. Through this method, the child is able to recognize and manipulate tiny units of sound used to make words. This will prepare the child for reading upon achieving mastery of the phonemic awareness. 

In MyPace Phonics, the curriculum is planned carefully by introducing small bite-sized learning at a time so that your child can have a better understanding in every class.  At the end of each term for Group Class, an extra lesson may be arranged for students who require revision, which is entirely optional. For Personalised Phonics class, the lesson plan will be altered accordingly on every lesson to cater your child's pace.

For Group Class , a detailed progress report will be given to the parents at the end of every term so that you are aware of your child's learning progress. For Personalised Phonics Class, you can ask the teacher for feedback at any time.

For group class, every lesson is carefully planned and the objective of the lesson is set beforehand. Our teachers are montessori trained and carefully selected before being assigned to the class.

For Personalised Phonics class,the lesson plan will change accordingly to your child's learning pace. You will receive a lesson plan every week on what your child is learning.

For Personalized Phonics Class, the class size are 1:1 or 1:2.
For Group Class, the class size is 1:8, subject to the capacity of the classroom.

You can opt for 1 paid trial lesson before you decide to let your child attend regular lessons. For personalised phonics, trial lesson is free. If you are interested in starting your child on phonics now, please contact us for more details! 

We accept only Paynow/Paylah to Teacher Carole's account. Please note that payment is required before the start of the term lessons.

For group class, there are 8 lessons for every term.

For personalised class, the advanced payment is based on every 5 lessons.

There is a non-refundable *deposit of one lesson fee before the start of the course.

*Your non-refundable deposit will be used to offset one lesson of the new term or a revision lesson, following the end of your child's term course prior to one month in-advance notification.

For group class, a material fee of $15 will be charged every term.

For Group Class
Should your child miss lessons, there will be one make-up lesson at the end of every term. Kindly note that only one make-up lesson is applicable in every term regardless the number of missed lessons. There is no refund nor replacement for more than 1 missed lesson. Please check out the time table for the dates of make-up lessons.

For Personalised Phonics Class
There are 5 lessons (every 5 weeks). Kindly note that only one make-up lesson is applicable regardless the number of missed lessons. There is no refund nor replacement for more than 1 missed lesson. 

We will be holding holiday programmes during the holidays. Do feel free to pop by our website and subscribe to our media accounts for updates! Alternatively, your child can take a break during the holidays. Please click here for the dates of the holiday programme.

We are sorry to see you go. As our curriculum is carefully curated for MyPace students, we would strongly advise the students to complete the lessons in the term. We will not be able to facilitate any refunds of the remaining unattended lessons should the students discontinue at any point in time.
