Peace by Chocolate, linked below, is an organization focused on supporting peace through the selling of chocolate. The operation is run by a family who originally had a small chocolate factory in Damascus, Syria, but had to flee when it was destroyed in a bombing. After three years of being refugees with little hope, they found their way to Nova Scotia in Canada and reconstructed their beloved chocolate company. Their goal? To support many peacemaking organizations around the world by donating a portion of their profits. The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, even told their story at the United Nations.
