This scrapbook is always going to be a work in progress. This third page, with the inclusion of K Drama soundtrack artists, is intended to reflect my equal happpiness and enjoyment from listening to the wonderful songs and genres the Kdramas are equally well known for. They populate my playlists completely, indeed I never really listened to music much. Now I listen whenever I get the chance. Not all dramas have a soundtrack that chimes, but many do. And I gain much pleasure from revisiting the stories in my head as well as following the route of the artisits into their other material.
The extracts below are links to YouTube material which means you may have to wade through some adverts; and the extracts themselves are sometimes of concert performances or edits from the shows they come from. These first six artists are just a start.
A Hip Hop rapper whose contributions to many K drama soundtracks brings warmth, sensitivity and beautiful tones
Aa South Korean pop duo formed in 2008. The duo consists of vocalists Lee Hae-ri and Kang Min-kyung. Their name, "Davichi", is derived from the Korean phrase "shining over everything" (다 비치). Lovely Harmonies and ballady sounds.

Shin Seung-hun is a South Korean singer-songwriter who was known in the 1990s as the "Emperor of Ballads."

Another American singer songwriter whose voice I found captivating for its heart tugging strength which perfectly captured the series' emotions.
A beautiful voice whose owner appears to want to fly mostly under the radar. Appearing on many soundtracks but doesn't appear to court publicity.
Another singer with regular OTS songs. Trying to track down a face to a voice, particularly when two singers have the same name, can be a difficulty, but this image comes from drama wiki and attributes the song to her.
Smooth, ballady, relaxing.
Cutesy and positive. Can really put a spring in your step.
Extract from Hometown Cha Cha Cha, One Sunny Day
Another multitalented performer. Acclaimed for her acting, she also fronts much of the Castaway soundtrack.
