Ds Software Hero built the MyHisab - Money Manager app as a free app. This SERVICE is provided by Ds Software Hero and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The information that we request will be retained by Ds Software Hero and used as described in this privacy policy.

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may collect this information, including but not limited to Name, Address, Phone Number. This information is used when the user uses the app features.

The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Please note that while we make use of third-party services like AdMob and Firebase, their data collection practices are governed by their respective privacy policies.

Google Play Services, AdMob and Firebase SDK may collect Approximate location, Purchase history, Crash logs, App interactions, Device ID and Android Advertising ID on the user's device. Google Play Services used this data to provide various Google services. AdMob used this data to deliver relevant ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud. Firebase used this data to provide app analytics and push notifications.

When users log in using Google Sign-In (OAuth), we collect the following information with your consent:

Full Name
Email Address
Profile Picture

This information is used solely for user account management and app functionality.

Where Your Data is Stored

We store your data in two secure places:

Firebase Authentication (by Google) – used for secure user login and verification.
Our own MySQL database (server-side) – where we store your name and email address to identify and manage your account.

Data Collection and Storage

Backup and Restore (.db File):
The app allows you to create a backup of your data in a .db file, which is stored in the Firebase Storage with your consent for give you online backup and restore facility. This ensures that you can preserve your data and restore it whenever needed. Each user's data is stored in a private location, accessible only after authenticating via Google Sign-In. You have full control to deleting them.

Generate Reports (.pdf File):
The app generates reports in a .pdf file, summarizing your daily, monthly, or yearly records. These reports are stored in the Download/MyHisab-PDF folder for easy access and sharing.

Permission Usage

For Android 10 and Above (API 29+):
The app utilizes Scoped Storage, a modern and secure storage mechanism that does not require explicit storage permissions. All files are saved in the app's dedicated folder within the Downloads directory.
For Android 8 and 9 (API 26 and 27):
Due to technical limitations of these Android versions, the app requests the WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission. This permission is solely used for saving .pdf files in the Download/MyHisab-PDF folder and .db files in the Download/MyHisab-Backup. The app does not access, read, or modify any other files on your device.

Why This Is Important?

Users running Android 8 or 9 understand why the app needs the WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission.
Users running Android 10+ know that the app is designed with modern Scoped Storage for better security and compliance.

Data Privacy and Security

All .pdf files generated by the app are stored locally on your device and are not shared with third parties. You have full control to deleting or sharing them.
.db online backup files generated by the app are stored in the Firebase Storage with your consent and .db offline backup files generated by the app are stored locally on your device with your consent. You have full control to restoring and deleting them.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
