I have many favorite books, most of which are in my favorite genre, fantasy. All of these books were really good, and I'd recommend them to anyone who enjoys fantasy or action & adventure books.
Harry Potter is one of the most popular books in the world and with good reason. There are so many deep messages told, and the characters all have unique personalities that add to the amazing plot.
My personal favorite book in the series is The Goblet of Fire, and I like it mainly because of the Triwizard Tournament that takes place. I love the intricate plots of each book, and how it has a complex way the protagonists have to defeat the villain, with many different parts and not just a battle that kills the antagonist.
Hermione is my absolute favorite character, I think her personality is really close to mine, and she is always on top of things whether magically related or personally related. Another one of my favorite characters is Luna Lovegood, I like how she's really different from everyone and not afraid to stand out as being "weirder" than everyone else.
I try to reread this series every year, as it has meant a lot to me since I started reading in 1st grade. The Harry Potter series is probably when I first fell in love with reading so much, which is part of the reason why I still love it greatly.
I started reading KotLC for my book club in the summer of 2023 and immediately started to enjoy it. I loved all of the characters and how each book had a unique cliffhanger at the end which made me want to continue reading. I finished the whole series in a month and definitely enjoyed the characters. I do need to reread this series, which I'll probably do before the 9.5 short story or release of book 10.
My two favorite books were probably Flashback and Exile, I like the storylines, and in Exile I loved it when Sophie discovered Silveny and was able to transmit to her. In Flashback I loved Wynn and Luna, and I liked the way the plot went.
If you're wondering, I'm on Team Fitz (and yes, I've read all of the books), which I know is not the opinion of many KotLC fans. I think I like Fitz better than Keefe because I don't really enjoy Keefe as a character very much, and I don't like the way he thinks about things. I also don't enjoy his jokes anymore (they got old), and how he joined the Neverseen in Lodestar.
Even though it's such a great series, I don't much enjoy the repetition of the Neverseen always escaping, Sophie's friends being captured or hurt, and Sophie's many powers not being able to help very much.
I enjoyed the illustrations in the Part One graphic novel, and I'm also excited for book 10 and the next graphic novel.
*I also might have a theory on who Sophie's father is if you'd like to hear.*
I recently read the Wings of Fire series, and thought it was a really amazing series! I love how it was about dragons, and had many different types of dragons with different tribes. The plot was also really good, with the prophecies, different powers, and the new continent.
If you're interested in starting this series, I'd recommend looking at this Order to Read Wings of Fire list.
My favorite books were probably Moon Rising and Darkstalker, I really enjoyed reading about mind-reading and seeing the future powers of the NightWings. I also always enjoy a long backstory book of the characters, and Darkstalker definitely appealed to me. I loved how it was a villain POV and showed how Darkstalker slowly turned evil and why.
My favorite characters from each arc are Glory, Moon, and Cricket, and I also like Clearsight. Moon is my most favorite character, I think I like her because she's similar to me
The latest book, The Flames of Hope, wasn't my absolute favorite, I think Tui T. Sutherland may be running out of ideas, and the storyline wasn't as entertaining in it.
I also own the graphic novel, so I flipped through it briefly after finishing the first book, and thought that the details in the graphic novel were surprisingly accurate to the actual book, even with small things like the first battle scene and the moves they used.
I would recommend this to any reader who enjoys dragons or animal POV in general.
Overall, really enjoyed Wings of Fire and thought it was a great series! I'm excited for the new arc too, and hope it will be better than Flames of Hope with good characters.
I'm currently reading the Percy Jackson series, and am on book three. So far, I really enjoyed the first two books, even though I thought a few parts were similar to Harry Potter or other fantasies.

Altogether, The Lightning Thief was definitely as good as everyone says it is. The details and plot were so well-written and I could imagine everything very clearly. The events all tied together great and kept you guessing what would happen next. The foreshadowing worked really well and there were hints near the beginning that Luke was the one who stole the master bolt. The fighting parts were also cool, and I enjoyed reading about all of the different monsters.
My favorite character is Annabeth so far, I really like her Yankees hat and her fierce attitude. I hope to make some PJO fanart soon as well.
I'll add more to this once I finish the series. See my full review and a helpful summary of the entire first and second book on the "Reviews" page on the menu bar.
I started reading the Hunger Games when I was around 12, and never got around to finishing Mockingjay. But I started reading it again, and really enjoyed the complex setting and relationships with the characters.
Catching Fire was probably my favorite in the series, and I liked how there was a lot of tension and plot twists throughout the book, and the character development was very well-done as well .
Rue was an amazing character in the first book, and it was emotional when she died. I also liked Foxface in the first book, and the Hunger Games revolving around a clock in Catching Fire was also a good idea.
I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who likes a good plot twist, or a series that keeps you up at night to read.
I'm about to read The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and hopefully I'll enjoy it!
It took me a while to read the whole series, which contains around 100 books total, which is kind of a lot! Erin Hunter is still writing Warriors to this day, and I have no idea when it will end.

Warriors was indeed a great series toward the beginning—with Bluestar's Prophecy as my favorite overall—but the quality of the storyline and characters gradually decreased with the amount of books published. They're still good books, but have repeating plots and characters, which isn't so fun to read about multiple times.
Even with that being said, I think it's a great series for any cat-lover, but I'd recommend just choosing how many of the series you'd like to read before starting or just reading the first series, which is really good.
I read A Wolf Called Wander a while ago, have reread it since, and loved it both times. As you can probably tell by the books I read, I really enjoy books that have to do with animals, but this is one of my favorite animal POV books I've ever read.
It combines both creative fictional elements with amazing and facts since it's based on a true story of a wolf from Oregon who takes a long journey south.
What also makes me love this story so much is the wonderful illustrations inside, which help bring the book to life along with the stunning details. The plot is also really well-written along with the characters, and it has some parts you wouldn't expect.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about wolves and how they interact. And if you'd like to learn even more about animals while reading a fictional story, check out more of Rosanne Parry's books.
