Artist Note _ Ji Young Suh
Currently, the front yard in my mind is filled with the Bible, praise, light, flowers, grass, and other natural landscapes. The picture is expressed by combining images associated with the text of the Psalms, imaginary images from dreams and memories, flowers, vines, and vegetable pots. In my painting, I tried to express the process in which the color dots are agglomerated and spread blurry by using oil pastels and cotton.
For everyone can have access to my work, I am sharing my work on my YouTube channel, which is called "J 그림 (J Grim)".
My video work is composed of my painting and Bible verses. I hope that my small drawings can give everyone who is going through difficult times comfortable rest and healing.
