For this project we were tasked with partnering up with another classmate and we each had to pick a country that wasn't the United States to research and then compare the two. We had to find information about their population, technology use, demographic, language and etc. my parter and I choose United Arab Emirates and Japan to research. We had to use articles to find information about each others country using the schools online library.
An interesting fact that i learned about United Arab Emirates is that it is made up of seven different emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras al-Khaimah, Ajman, Umm al-Quwain and Fujairah. Two interesting facts that i learned about Japan is that it is considered rude to eat and walk at the same time and 60% of animated shows are produced in japan making it the leading country to do so.
During this project i've learned a lot of new and cool facts about these two countries, but i also learned how to use and navigate a new data base to get my information. It was challenging at first but after spending more time going through it, it got easier. I also learned how to successfully make a powerpoint with my partner and mastering how to share it with her so we could both make edits and upload our information at the same time.
