Disney Worker downloaded AI tool and got hacked!

A man named Mathew Van Andel happened to download an AI tool on his computer at home. Five months later he learned that the app had a component that allowed hackers to have full access to his computer. The hackers gained access to a password manager that Van Andel used to keep passwords and other sensitive information.  It also stored digital files that allowed him access to online resources like Disney's Slack channel. To prevent this from happening to you, you should set up 2 step authentication for your passwords and to use a separate authentication os passkey for all of your personal information. Also to be carful with downloading suspicious or untrusted softwares. 

US Charges 2 Chinese officials & 10 hackers for spying on agencies!

This article talks about how the US justice department charged 10 Chinese hackers and two Chinese officers  for orchestrating an cyber espionage or cyber collection that targeted federal agencies and news organizations. One of the federal agencies that were affected was the US department of treasury and they apparently discovered a breach last year.  Also Some US officials believe that this whole thing is apart of a large scale intelligence gathering operation. Although it is not clear how they were hacked, to prevent future situations like this it is important to make sure that you change your passwords and update your software to prevent flaws in your system.
