Reflection of Essay 1

One of the greatest challenges I faced when I write an essay was writing down important details to my essay. I wrote summaries about the article after I watch a movie and read a book. I need to read the article and watch a movie again after I started writing my essay. Even though I have a summary of the book and film I need to read an article again if I want to use the correct and relevant information for my essay. We should write important information with a cite in our notes or summary in case we need the information for the essay. In addition, I had difficulty to write an explanation for the information of the essay. Professor gave us eight steps pie paragraph structure and I used that in my essay. It helped me to write a whole paragraph including an explanation for information on the essay. My main goal for the next essay will be to write a strong argumentative essay that has a strong thesis, points and body paragraphs. I will improve my skills in writing well-developed paragraphs with strong points, facts, and explanations. Eight steps for pie paragraphs is the tool I will use for my essay. I will show my essay to the peer or tutor and edit when it needs to.

Reflection of Essay 2

I wrote this essay after I researched childcare system in California Bay area. This is not hard because I already have researched about my chosen topic and made presentation. In order to write my essay I put the right informations into PIE structure. P is for point, I is for information, E is for explanation. It was more clear to write after I learned this structure. It was easy because I already found my points for my essay. I think I only need some detail or explanation to work on otherwise my research was a whole essay to me. One of the challenging things of my essay was MLA format of my essay. Specially citation is not perfect in my essay. Due to write good essay we must learn MLA format and citation very good. Also some of my points of my essay wasn't strong. For instance, I write about only two paragraphs of solution with small information which wasn't enough for my essay. I worked on couple days for my solution and did more research it. For me wide variety of vocabulary is always challenging thing but this is only thing that makes essay more critical. I will work on that.
