After starting my career at Benesse Corporation in roles across editing, marketing, and business development, a 2012 job relocation became the catalyst for my return to academia. Balancing work and study, I pursued a graduate degree, eventually earning my Master’s and joining Okayama University in 2016 as a Practical Education Program Planner. Upon receiving my Ph.D., I was appointed Associate Professor at Okayama University in April 2020, specializing in the design and management of community-based practical education. I also contributed to university governance as Vice Executive Director from 2021 to 2022, overseeing high school-university transitions and SDGs initiatives. A native of Kizugawa, Kyoto—a quiet town rich in history—I grew up with a passion for Japanese heritage and global perspectives, the latter shaped by a year as an exchange student in Mansfield, Massachusetts, U.S.A., during my high school years.
大学卒業後、株式会社ベネッセコーポレーション入社。編集、マーケティング、新規事業開発等を経験。2012年の転勤で単身赴任生活となったことをきっかけに大学院に進学、社会人大学院生となる。修士号取得後の2016年6月、国立大学法人岡山大学に実践型教育プランナーとして入職し、教員を補佐しながら実践型社会連携教育の運営補助にあたる。
博士号取得後の2020年4月、国立大学法人岡山大学に准教授として着任。実践型社会連携教育の企画開発・授業運営を担当。2021～2022年度は副理事（高大接続・共創教育・SDGs教育担当）を務めた。
京都府木津川市出身。奈良と京都を結ぶ旧街道沿いのちいさな町で育ち、日本史に親しむ。高校時代には交換留学生として米国マサチューセッツ州で1年間の留学生活を送った。
