Only now that we have proposed a more coherent version of human sexuality are we in the position to review the morality of various sexual behaviors. But firstly, we should ask what is the right question about sexual morality? In other words, when we say that such and such acts are right or wrong, what is it that is right or wrong about them?
26. Casual is not smart, even in sex.
27. Consuming porn consumes you.
28. Language is for dialogues, not for monologues.
29. The first question is, how are you hurting? Not, whom are you hurting?
30. Reserving the intimacy of the body for the right relationship is an art.
31. Love does not justify sex, truth does.
32. Sex is fully honest in marriage only.
33. Love does not justify marriage; commitment does.
34. The vows of the will make marriage; not the will of the majority.
The moral question is not, as utilitarianism would have it, "what are the undesirable consequences of such and such behavior?" but "Is such and such behavior helping me to be a more virtuous person?" Once we ask the right question, reasonable answers should not be hard to find.
