Millions of people in Myanmar have been affected by the powerful earthquakes that devastated huge areas of the country, leaving them without access to the safe shelter, food, clean water and medical care they need to survive.

People in Myanmar were already facing a severe humanitarian crisis, with over a third of the population in need of aid. Now the situation is even more critical. Soaring temperatures of over 40 degrees Celsius are worsening conditions for families forced to sleep outside in the heat. The spread of illness and disease is a major concern, and the monsoon season is just a few weeks away.
