Alexander Galt Regional High School (2022-Current):
As a Handicapped Student Assistant/Special Ed Technician at Alexander Galt Regional High School in Sherbrooke, Quebec, I have had the privilege of working with students of all different levels. This role has allowed me to develop my skills in behavior management, lesson planning, and classroom organization, as I have been responsible for taking notes, helping students, and observing the teacher to ensure seamless instruction for all students. Through this experience, I have gained a deep appreciation for the challenges and rewards of working with special needs students, and have developed strong communication and teamwork skills in order to effectively support each individual's unique needs.
Supply Teacher (2021- Current):
As a Supply Teacher in the Eastern Township School Board in Quebec, I have had the privilege of putting my education and experience into practice on a daily basis. This role has been an excellent opportunity for me to develop my confidence and comfort in the classroom, as well as my ability to work with students at different levels. As a supply teacher, I have been responsible for adapting to new classroom environments and curriculum, requiring me to be flexible, adaptable, and creative in my approach to teaching. This experience has strengthened my communication and interpersonal skills, and has allowed me to build a strong foundation in effective classroom management and instruction.
