Beaches

The lake in front of Varano Borghi is Lake Comabbio. It is a shallow lake and not suitable for swimming. Along its shores you’ll find Parco Berrini, a lovely green area with a café and a playground for children.

You can walk or cycle all the way around the lake; the full loop takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes on foot. If you are looking for swimming spots, nearby Lake Monate is an excellent option. It is a deep, very clean lake with several beaches and well-known bathing areas.
