Ricardo is a first-generation, low-income graduate from Wesleyan University (2021) where he holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Studies and Johns Hopkins School of Education (2023) where he received his Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.). They are an Irving High School alum (2017). They are an educator, currently serving as a Bilingual and GT teacher in Irving ISD and previously worked as a 6th Grade ELA teacher with Uplift Education. Ricardo is passionate about education, social justice, and serving the community that he lives in which makes them excited to help Irving ISD students with their future college and career paths.Â
