Omar Lazcano (he/they)

Omar is an undergraduate student pursuing a second bachelor's degree at the University of Texas at Arlington (2021 & 2024) and an Irving High School alum (2018). He enjoys candles, spending time in their garden, and collecting stacks of books he hopes to read. As a student, Omar came to love participating in advocacy for Reproductive Justice issues on campus and in internships. They are always happy to discuss their experience with social justice organizing and research! He is elated to see MCJA enter its fourth year and thankful for all its alumni and mentors, past and present.

Omar is a part of our Senior Advisory Board. He is also an advisor for the Public Relations team.
