Miriam is a first-generation, low-income student at Stanford University (2024) and an Irving High School alumna (2018). She loves singing, hiking, and playing volleyball! During her college years, she discovered her interest in engineering and her desire to merge it with her love for medicine. At Stanford, she actively engaged in community health initiatives, conducted biomedical research, and gained practical experience by working in the biomedical technology industry. Alongside her academic pursuits, she prioritized her health needs and is willing to share her experiences navigating these circumstances. With graduation approaching, Miriam plans to apply to medical school with the goal of becoming a doctor-engineer.
Miriam is one of our founders. She is a part of our Senior Advisory Board and serves as an advisor on our Financial team.Â
