The Malda Women's College Library was started functioning in the year 1970. The library supports the aims of the college towards imparting quality education and providing the latest information to the academic community of the college for developing their sphere of knowledge, intelligence, self - reliance and to make them good citizens of India.

Objectives:

• To support and enhance the teaching and learning process by delivering and promoting the effective use of information resources and services.

• To improve the library's basic infrastructure in order to provide better services to the users.

• To provide information services to the user community timely

• Promote the standing and good reputation of the college through excellence in library services.
