Regional Policy Board
The Mission Valley SELPA Regional Policy Board (RPB) serves as the governing body of Mission Valley SELPA. The Board consists of six voting members: the Superintendent and one Governing Board Member from each member district.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
The Regional Policy Board is responsible for:
Selecting the SELPA Administrator.
Establishing and supporting the Community Advisory Committee (CAC).
Reviewing, approving, and monitoring the SELPA budget.
Providing leadership in the development, implementation, review, and revision of the SELPA Local Plan.
Reviewing, approving, and monitoring the allocation of special education funding to member local educational agencies (LEAs).
Approving SELPA policies, standards, and guidelines.
The Regional Policy Board meets four times during the school year. Meeting dates are posted annually.
