Privacy Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

This Privacy Policy outlines the standards for handling sensitive academic and personal data within the MVG Public School Admin App. This application is restricted to authorized administrative personnel. The purpose of this policy is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of student records managed via our Firebase-based backend.

2. Information Classification

All data accessed through this application is classified as Confidential Institutional Data. This includes:

• Personally Identifiable Information (PII): Student names, contact details, parent information, and government-issued student IDs.

• Academic Records: Internal assessment marks, attendance logs, and performance reports.

• Administrative Logs: Records of leave applications, disciplinary notes, and internal notices.

3. Data Processing and Security

• Authorized Access: Access is granted solely based on the principle of "least privilege." Administrators shall only access data necessary for their specific professional functions.

• Encryption and Transmission: All data transfers between the mobile client and our database occur over encrypted channels (HTTPS/TLS). Administrators are prohibited from bypassing these security protocols.

• Device Integrity: Accessing this application from rooted, jailbroken, or otherwise compromised mobile devices is strictly prohibited. Administrators must ensure their devices are secured with current OS updates and biometric/passcode locks.

4. Data Handling and Confidentiality

Administrators are strictly prohibited from:

• Exporting, copying, or capturing screenshots of sensitive student records for unauthorized personal use.

• Sharing account credentials with third parties or other staff members.

• Storing raw database exports on unencrypted local storage.

5. Compliance and Audit

MVG Public School reserves the right to log all administrative actions within the app for audit purposes. Any detected breach of this policy will lead to the immediate revocation of administrative privileges and may result in disciplinary action in accordance with the policies of the Welfare Society.
