Science processes and terminology/plants used in Maori medicine/establishing a school garden for rongoā.
Students are introduced to rongoā through a day of ‘hands-on’ learning, giving a greater appreciation and understanding of local plants traditionally used in Maori medicine, some of the terminology used in these processes, and the advantages of having a school rongoā garden.

This programme is delivered off-site and can be facilitated in all but torrential weather.
Cost of this programme is $6.00 per student and the cost of fuel to travel to your school.

It is essential for there to be one adult per group due to the nature of the hands-on activities.
Groups ideally consisting of 4-6 students.
