Description: A set of professionals has to learn about the importance of creating content pieces that are valuable to the customers and still drive revenue. In order to do this, learners will have to develop a content strategy that is based on business goals and objectives. g
The training consists of 4 modules: 1) Why content strategy is important? 2) Know Your Audience 3) Content Strategy and Content Types. 4) Creating Content.
As we go through each module, learners will work on a content strategy project and move until we create a blog post that actually addresses business needs.
1. Module (1): Why Content Strategy is Important? - During this module, learners will choose a brand for their project. It could be a real one or one of their own.
2. Module (2): Know Your Audience! - During this module, learners will have to create an empathy map of their perfect audience and provide an infographic of their buyer persona.
3. Module (3): Content Strategy and Content Types - During this module, learners will have to create a buyers journey and at least suggest 3 content pieces they want to create at every step of the journey. Learners will have to choose at least 2 different content types.
4. Module (4): Creating Content - During this module, learners will choose one piece of content they suggested in the previous module and create it.
This complex task uses constructivism (because 1) learners are engaged in the material, 2) they draw from their personal experiences when they have to name a brand, 3) and it uses tasks that are in the zone of proximal deveolopment), cognitivism as the material is divided into smaller chunks, and andragogy as it connect them to their previous experiences and it explains why they should learn it.
1. There are milestones at each step.
2. Learning Actually happen during the completion of the project.
3. Learners will dig deep into content knowledge in order to apply what they have learnt.
4. The task is challenging for the learners and it requires that they work on it across all the stages.
