The Muskegon County Mathematical Olympiad will consist of a 22-question, 30 minute math test. Don't be scared away! The questions on the test are reflective of the curriculum taught in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Statistics/Probability. So if you haven't had the opportunity to take pre-calculus, calculus, trigonometry, or AP/Honors versions, THAT'S OK! In keeping with our inclusive goal, the MCMO problem set will test content that has been accessible at ALL Muskegon Area High Schools.
Competing, however, is just one part of the MCMO experience. Students will also hear presentations by local STEM professionals, participate in team rounds, and be recognized at a ceremony at the end!
