My Credentials
Teaching Experience: With five years of experience running my private studio, I have had the privilege of working with over thirty families. My teaching approach focuses on nurturing individual growth and musical development tailored to each student's needs.
Student Achievements:Â I have current students who participate in the Spokane Youth Symphony program and hold principal seats in their school orchestras. Witnessing their musical journeys and accomplishments brings me immense joy and pride.
Educational Pursuits: Currently enrolled at Whitworth University, I am pursuing a degree in Music with tracks in Violin Performance and String Pedagogy. Along with this, I have taken substantial courses in childhood psychology and education. This academic journey has equipped me not only with necessary music theory and violin pedagogy skills but also with essential skills in curriculum development, progress assessment, and meeting students' social and developmental needs and goals.
Performance Experience: As a violinist of eleven years, I have honed my skills through various avenues. I progressed through the ranks of the Spokane Youth Symphony program, contributed to Mead High School's string chamber program, and now actively participate in Whitworth's Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Strings Orchestra with experience in principle positions. I am currently a member of the "American Quartet," an award-winning collegiate string quartet located in Spokane. I have been privileged to perform at diverse events such as weddings, farmer's markets, charity functions, and on international stages, enriching my understanding of performance dynamics and audience engagement.
