MusicVibeAI (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the MusicVibeAI mobile application.
MusicVibeAI may process:
Apple Music library and playlist metadata, such as song titles, artists, albums, genres, release dates, Apple catalog identifiers, and playlist names.
Songs or playlists you select as starting points.
Your song ratings and music preferences.
Your explicit-content preference.
Sound descriptions, refinement choices, and recovery reasons you provide.
Technical request identifiers, processing status, timing information, and error information needed to operate and troubleshoot the service.
A random, anonymous app-install identifier generated on your device, used to measure overall usage and maintain service reliability. It is not linked to your name, Apple ID, or other personal information.
MusicVibeAI does not currently require a user account.
With your permission, MusicVibeAI accesses Apple Music and music-library information to:
Find songs and playlists you select.
Avoid recommending songs already in your library.
Search the Apple Music catalog.
Create and save playlists.
Operate the MusicVibeAI INBOX playlist.
You can revoke Music and Media access through your iPhone Settings.
Your complete Apple Music library is processed on your device and is not uploaded to the MusicVibeAI backend. MusicVibeAI does not upload raw audio files.
Apple processes information according to its own privacy policies and terms.
When you use AI Song Match, MusicVibeAI may send the following information to the MusicVibeAI backend:
Selected song metadata.
Artist, album, genre, and release information.
Your selected sound-matching direction.
Song ratings and refinement feedback.
Previously shown or excluded recommendations.
Apple Music storefront and technical request identifiers.
An anonymous app-install identifier.
Relevant information is provided to OpenAI to analyze musical characteristics and generate song recommendations. OpenAI web search may be used for some song-analysis requests.
Do not enter personal, confidential, or sensitive information into sound-description fields.
MusicVibeAI uses cloud infrastructure, including Render and temporary Redis storage, to process AI requests.
AI job results and limited request metadata generally expire after approximately 30 minutes. Hosting providers and OpenAI may retain operational or security logs according to their own policies.
MusicVibeAI does not currently maintain a permanent user-profile database.
Diagnostic JSON exports are created only when you choose to export them. These files may include:
Selected song information.
Ratings and recommendation results.
Request timing and failure details.
Workflow and diagnostic information.
Diagnostic files are not automatically uploaded by the app. You control where they are sent through the iOS share sheet.
Feedback submitted through TestFlight may be processed by Apple and provided to the MusicVibeAI developer.
Information is used to:
Provide music discovery and playlist features.
Generate and improve recommendations during your current session.
Process Apple Music searches and playlist saves.
Prevent duplicate recommendations.
Diagnose errors and service failures.
Maintain the security and reliability of the service.
MusicVibeAI may use:
Apple for Apple Music, MusicKit, and TestFlight.
OpenAI for AI-assisted song analysis and recommendations.
Render for backend hosting.
Redis infrastructure for temporary AI-job storage.
These providers process information under their respective privacy policies and terms.
MusicVibeAI currently:
Does not display advertising.
Does not sell personal information.
Does not use third-party advertising trackers.
Does not include a third-party analytics SDK.
Does not offer MusicVibeAI purchases or subscriptions.
This policy will be updated if those practices change.
You may:
Deny or revoke Apple Music access through iPhone Settings.
Avoid using AI Song Match.
Choose whether to create or share diagnostic exports.
Contact us with privacy questions or requests.
Because MusicVibeAI does not currently maintain user accounts, we may not be able to identify information associated with a particular person.
MusicVibeAI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy when MusicVibeAI’s features, providers, or legal obligations change. The updated policy will include a revised effective date.
