Add clothing to the guy to create music

Mess with a variety of combinations to create the sound that you want.

-Experiment with muting "guys" to change the form of your song, which you can do by mousing over the guy and hitting the speaker icon)

-Experiment with "solos" (the microphone picture when you mouse over)

-Experiment with adding/deleting "guys" while your song is going by clicking the "X" when mousing over

After you've found a combination of "guys' you are satisfied with, reset them all and hit "record"

-Watch the counter at the top, it has to get to 10/40 before you can share!

Share your song with Mr. Hedding.

To Share:

After sharing your first creation with Mr. Hedding return to Incredibox's Homepage, and follow the steps in a different version (V1, V2, V4), and share this new song with Mr. Hedding, also. Both songs are due at the end of class.

Answer ALL THREE of these questions in a well-written paragraph.

1. How easy was it to create music using Incredibox? Knowing that these were pre-made loops, how much control do you feel you had creating the songs? Were you pleased with your final songs?
2. How much did texture and form influence how you created your song? Did you intentionally change "guys" to create a certain form or effect?
3. Knowing how easy it could be to create music, does this change your view on "electronic music?" Techno, Dubstep, Trance, and House aren't that different from what you created today...simply with different sounds that you expect (bass drop for example) with different loops.
