Introduction
This WebQuest is designed to give students a glance into the eras of music history by exploring a composer of their choosing. They will create a presentation to be shared with the class on their composer and turn in a journal entry as a time traveler who met the composer. It is geared towards 6th -7th grade.
Aha! You've finally done it. You finished your time machine and decide to go back in time to meet a great composer of a musical era. But who do you choose? And more importantly, you need to know what person/time period you're dealing with before you go. Your goal for this WebQuest is to choose a composer from an era in music history and learn about them before you visit. Then after you present your findings to the class about who you'll meet, write a journal entry 1-2 pages about your trip meeting the composer.
