Making Music

In this sound composition you will hear noises from a typical sunny Summer day. The birds are chirping, bees flying around, someone cleaning off the grill getting ready to make some food, the pool splashing, the wind blowing, and the noises from a gate opening and closing.

My experience making these beats was that it was a ton of fun. It was definitely a challenge at first and learning how to use everything was difficult, but I slowly got the hang of it. The first part is the verse. I kept it short and simple. The second half was the chorus. I added mroe ntoes and changed the style like most chrosus. Plus, you would find that the climax is in the chrous as well.

From the last time using Soundtrap, I definitely have a better experience since I knew how to use it better. I really enjoyed putting together multiple sounds to make a harmony instead of just one. The main issue I had while creating this piece was timing the notes right to play multiple chords at the same time. Although it isn't exactly what I pictured in my head, I still really enjoyed how it came out!

Using Prezi for the first time, like everything else, I was confused. However, after playing around with the different themes and finding this one of the puzzle pieces, I thought it was perfect! I wanted it to represent how many different pieces there are in each individual song and what all goes into just a short two minute piece of music. I really enjoyed this assignment as I was able to strip apart one of my favorite songs and learn all about it.
