The company started as a unique business idea from Joseph Anokye (Quality and Safety Manager), Abigail Sume (Sourcing and Farmer Impact Manager), Isaac Assumang (Production Manager), and Emmanuella Aryee (Marketing and Finance Manager) when they were students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST, Kumasi). With the team's hard work and support from the Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC), Ghana Climate University Network (GCUN), Global Business School Network (GBSN), and the BR Institute, the company has become fully operational at Ejisu-Asotwe, producing nutritious foods, contributing to the eradication of childhood malnutrition with climate-friendly commodities such as oyster mushrooms, and strengthening the future of Ghana and Africa.
