Volunteers including videographer Barb Carrier continue a Museum project that began with a grant in 2012, to create oral history videos of Palm Harbor residents and former residents with a story to tell. “Life is about stories,” said Carrier. “We want to capture that history before it’s too late.” Sallie Parks has been the hostess and major interviewer of many well known Palm Harbor authorities and contributors to this program.
Terry Fortner, another volunteer working on the Oral History project, said, “More than 40 individual life history interviews have been filmed. Palm Harbor Museum’s oral history team continues to film monthly scheduled appointments. We welcome volunteers to help edit and assist.”
