Universal Declaration of Human Rights

The declaration was proclaimed on December 10, 1948, in the Paris United Nations General Assembly.

STOP LUMAD KILLINGS!

Back in 1986, the administration of President Corazon Aquino established Commission on Human Rights (CHR). It acts as an independent body to ensure the human rights of the Filipinos assured by the Bill of Rights.

It primarily acts on the human rights violations comitted and emitted to people. Although, in the year 1991, the Supreme Court came up with a decision that the power is not present to settle the conflicts.
