I have not yet decided on a career to pursue. The field of study that interests me the most would be mechanical, electrocal, computer, or chemical engineering. My interest of making things and wanting to learn how to make them prompted me into this field. I used to make arts & craft when I was little and was enticed by the more complex nature of technology. I decided that this career field is right for me during 9th grade computer science class when I found out how much I liked making things from scratch.
Classes I have taken thus far that would help me achieve my career goal would've been AP Comp. Science Principles, Chemistry Hons, Geometry Hons, and Pre-Calculus. I have thus far taken no programs of studies to help me reach my goal. I have learned the basic(pre) concept of calculus, geometry, and to make e-portfolios to aid me in my resume.
I have so far not participated in extra-curricular activities. Activities I have done outside of school has been to practice soccer. This might help me potentially participates in sports in the future. I have not been employed thus far.
After graduation from high school, my immediate plans would be attempting to go to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor's degree. I will most likely not be attended the military because I'm currently under the status of a dependent on my father's Work-Visa and am not considered eligible. I might attend a community college if I'm not able to get accepted into my ideal colleges or universities. I will most likely not be attending a trade school unless I want a gap period before college. I will most likely not be working as an apprentice unless I want to put it on my resume. I will not go straight into the work-force because I want to earn a degree first so I could have more options later in my life. My plan will most likely not change with time. I will most likely not change my training/education elsewhere immediately following graduation unless I want to switch to a university after attending the College of Southern Maryland.
