I work in the area of non-equilibrium dynamics of quantum many-body systems. I use Schwinger-Keldysh field theoretical (SKFT) techniques to study the presence and absence of thermalization in quantum many-body systems which are isolated from the environment or connected to a thermal bath (open quantum system). This sometimes requires extending SKFT formalism to include non-thermal initial conditions. I am also interested in various computational methods used in condensed matter and statistical physics.
