“The mission of MACTA is to promote and develop the growth of tennis in Murphys and the surrounding community.”

Murphys Area Community Tennis Association is a nonprofit corporation, founded in 2010 by Murphys area tennis players. It was the desire of the group to organize, and raise funds to re-surface the two public tennis courts in Murphys, and commit to an annual fundraising plan to not only support tennis for adults, but to provide instruction and encouragement to junior players.  Also acknowledged, was that on-going maintenance of the facility would be a priority.
