Mélanie Giffard
En 2011, elle danse pour Maud Le Pladec dans Democracy. Durant cette année, elle rejoint en tant que danseuse le CCN de Caen/Basse-Normandie, direction d’Héla Fattoumi et Eric Lamoureux pour les créations Circle et Lost in Burqa.
Mélanie est danseuse, de 2012 jusqu’à aujourd’hui auprès d’Herman Diephuis pour les créations Ciao Bella, All of me, Impressions, Bang !, Clan et Impressions, Nouvel accrochage. En 2013, elle travaille avec Liz Santoro et Pierre Godard dans We do our best et avec Julien Jeanne dans Parade.
En 2015, elle fait une reprise de rôle dans Mon amour du metteur-en-scène Thomas Ferrand. En 2016, elle obtient son diplôme d’Etat en danse contemporaine et en parallèle se passionne pour la Médecine traditionnelle chinoise, notamment pour le tuina et le Qiqong.
Elle rejoint en 2021, la compagnie d’Alban Richard, ancien directeur du CCN de Caen pour sa création 3 Works for 12, ainsi que pour les performances The Weird Sisters Project et Buées.
Depuis 8 ans, elle intervient au sein de différentes structures: Collèges, Ecoles primaires, IME, conservatoire de théatre, ect...pour différents projets: Danse à l’école, autour de créations. Mélanie est aussi assistante auprès des chorégraphes: Mickaël Phelippeau pour de Françoise à Alice, auprès d’Alice Davazoglou pour Danser Ensemble, auprès de Nicolas Chaigneau pour A MI-AMI et auprès d’ Alban Richard pour Dance Dance Dance .
Depuis 2024, Elle Co-Crée avec Nicolas Camus l’association Mūre Future.
En 2026, ils créent ensemble Montagnes, piece pour la petite enfance.

In 2011, Mélanie Giffard performed in Democracy by choreographer Maud Le Pladec. During the same year, she joined the CCN de Caen en Normandie under the direction of Héla Fattoumi and Éric Lamoureux, performing in the creations Circle and Lost in Burqa.
Since 2012, Mélanie has worked extensively with choreographer Herman Diephuis, performing in Ciao Bella, All of Me, Impressions, Bang!, Clan, and Impressions, Nouvel Accrochage. In 2013, she collaborated with Liz Santoro and Pierre Godard on We Do Our Best, and with Julien Jeanne on Parade.
In 2015, she performed a reprise role in Mon Amour, directed by Thomas Ferrand. In 2016, she obtained her State Diploma in Contemporary Dance. At the same time, she developed a strong interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine, particularly Tuina massage and Qigong.
In 2021, she joined the company of Alban Richard, former director of the CCN of Caen, for the creation 3 Works for 12 as well as the performances The Weird Sisters Project and Buées.
For more than eight years, Mélanie has led artistic and educational projects in a wide range of settings, including primary schools, secondary schools, special education institutions (IME), and theatre conservatories. She has participated in numerous dance education and creative projects and has also worked as an assistant to several choreographers, including Mickaël Phelippeau for de Françoise à Alice, Alice Davazoglou for Danser Ensemble, Nicolas Chaigneau for A MI-AMI, and Alban Richard for Dance Dance Dance.
Since 2024, she has co-founded and co-directed the artistic association Mûre Future alongside Nicolas Camus.
In 2026, they created Montagnes, a performance designed for early childhood audiences.
Nicolas Camus
Nicolas Camus est un artiste pluridisciplinaire, musicien, auteur, performeur et plasticien.
Après des études en arts plastiques à l'Université Rennes 2, où il obtient une licence en 2000, il développe une pratique artistique qui mêle image, son, écriture et performance. Il travaille en Bretagne comme comédien et performeur auprès de Benoît Sicat au sein de l'association 16 rue de Plaisance, puis à Paris comme acteur et régisseur pour le cinéma.
En 2015, il fonde le groupe de rock Cannibale, dont il est l'auteur, chanteur, vidéaste et illustrateur. Le groupe est signé sur le label Born Bad Records et poursuit son activité jusqu'en 2023, se produisant en France et à l'international.
Parallèlement à son travail de création, Nicolas Camus développe une pratique de transmission artistique. Formé au Soundpainting auprès de Clément Lebrun, il intervient depuis 2023 auprès de publics variés avec la SMAC La Luciole et l'association Drog'Aide à Alençon. Il anime des ateliers d'écriture, de lutherie sauvage et de création collective par le Soundpainting, notamment auprès d'habitants de quartiers prioritaires et de patients du Centre Psychothérapique de l'Orne.
En 2024, il cofonde l'association Mûre Future avec Mélanie Giffard. Ensemble, ils développent des projets artistiques mêlant danse, voix, musique, arts plastiques et manipulation d'objets. Il travaille actuellement sur plusieurs créations à destination du jeune public, tout en poursuivant ses activités d'artiste intervenant, de chef d'atelier pour le projet Orchestre Sauvage avec Pierre Fourmeau et de batteur au sein du groupe Camion Vert dirigé par Alain Chiche.

Nicolas Camus is a multidisciplinary artist working across music, visual arts, performance, writing, and participatory projects.
After studying Visual Arts at the University of Rennes 2, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in 2000, he developed a practice that combines image, sound, text, and live performance. He first worked in Brittany as an actor and performer alongside Benoît Sicat within the association 16 rue de Plaisance, before moving to Paris where he worked as an actor and stage manager in the film industry.
In 2015, he founded the psychedelic rock band Cannibale, for which he served as songwriter, vocalist, illustrator, and video director. Signed to Born Bad Records, the band performed extensively throughout France and internationally until 2023.
Alongside his artistic practice, Nicolas has developed a strong commitment to arts education and community-based projects. Trained in Soundpainting with Clément Lebrun, he has worked since 2023 as an artist facilitator with La Luciole, Alençon’s contemporary music venue, and with the association Drog’Aide. He leads workshops in creative writing, experimental instrument-making (“wild lutherie”), and Soundpainting-based collective creation with a wide range of participants, including local residents and patients of the Orne Psychiatric Centre.
In 2024, he co-founded the artistic association Mûre Future with dancer and choreographer Mélanie Giffard. Together, they develop interdisciplinary performances combining movement, voice, music, visual arts, and object manipulation.
He is currently involved in several artistic creations for young audiences, serves as workshop leader for the Orchestre Sauvage project alongside Pierre Fourmeau, and performs as drummer with the children's music group Camion Vert, directed by Alain Chiche.
