Prarthana Shivabasappa hails from Mysore, India. She received her PhD in Speech Language Pathology from All India Institute of Speech and Hearing. She worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at The University of Texas at Austin before joining NMSU as an Assistant Professor. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her toddler son 

Ana Happle was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. She will complete her B.S. in Communication Disorders with a minor in Spanish from NMSU on Spring 2024. She intends to pursue a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at NMSU, and later a master’s degree in Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys going for walks and making new friends.

Ashley Ramos Cordova was born in Juarez Mexico, and was raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She is pursuing her bachelor's degree in communication disorders with a minor in Spanish and will graduate in May 2024 from New Mexico State University. She hopes to pursue a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at New Mexico State University. Her hobbies include dancing, coaching, and spending time with her furry friends. 

Maya García Kozeliski was born and raised in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. In 2024, she will earn a Bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University in Communication Disorders, Linguistics, and Spanish. She intends to pursue a Master’s degree to soon become a Speech-Language Pathologist. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and people in her community. 

My name is Paola Quinonez and I was born and raised in El Paso Texas. I am pursuing a double major in Communication Disorders and Linguistics with a minor in Counseling Educational Psychology. After graduation, I aim to further my education by applying to graduate school and continuing my professional journey as a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends!

Mariah Silveyra-Diaz was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She's studying Communication Disorders with a minor in Spanish and is graduating in 2024. She plans to pursue Speech Language Pathology at New Mexico State and hopes to work with the bilingual population. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.

Phaedra Vasquez was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She will complete her B.S in communication disorders with a minor in counseling from New Mexico State University in the spring of 2023. She hopes to attend New Mexico State University in fall of 2023 to complete her masters in Speech-Language Pathology. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and taking her dogs to the dog park. 

Stephanie Karina Ibarra was born in the City of Juarez Mexico and raised in the Holloman Air Force base located in Alamogordo New Mexico. She is currently completing her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders with a minor in Human Development and family science at New Mexico State University. She intends to pursue a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and seek a graduate certification in autism spectrum disorders. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.

My name is Destiny Portillo, I was born in Las Cruces, NM. I will be graduating in May 2023 from New Mexico State University with a bachelor's in communication disorders and sociology along with a minor in linguistics and public health. I am hoping to return to NMSU in fall 2023 to complete my master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family.
