MuMuVa is the Parents' Association for children and families in Muotiala and Mustametsä kindergarten / day care and pre-school centres.
Parents can become a MuMuVa member if their child (or children) attend:

Membership does not oblige parents to participate in event organization or to be active in the association otherwise. It is enough to support the activities of the daycare centres through the association.
The easiest way to become a member is by filling in and submitting the membership application form below. By joining the association, parents also get the right to vote in the association's official meetings. Other support members are also welcome!
We notify our members about up-to-date information, e.g. events organized by the Association on our Facebook page and by e-mail.

The purpose of MuMuVa is to:
● promote cooperation and interaction between parents and kindergartens / pre-school
● promote cooperation and interaction between the daycare centres in operation
● support families, daycare centres and pre-school in their efforts to create healthy and safe learning and growth environments for children and to promote their balanced and varied development
● raise parents' views on childcare, pre-school and education
● act as a forum for cooperation, peer support and advocacy for parents
● bring joy and experiences to children in daycare / pre-school and their families
To accomplish its purpose, the association:
● familiarizes itself with the educational objectives and activities of daycare and pre-school centres
● makes proposals and initiatives, contacts the authorities for necessary reforms
● maintains contacts with the administrative bodies and staff of the daycare and pre-school centres, and cooperates with other communities working for daycare centres
● at its meetings, discusses matters that promote cooperation between families and daycare and pre-school centers
● engages in information activities and organises training sessions for parents of children
● provides operational and financial support for children's activities
● arranges meetings, discussions, recreation activities, and festivities.
The aim of the association is to enable children and their families to enjoy happy moments of togetherness and events, trips to the daycare centre and additions to the toy and craft box.
The activities of the association are led by a board elected at the annual meeting. The minutes of the meetings are available on the “Hallitus” (governance) tab.

- Send your information to our membership register by submitting a membership application form
- Pay a membership fee or support fee
Membership is personal, so parents sign up independently. Other supporters can join the association as support members!
Membership fee is 10 € / member / school year.
The fee is confirmed at the annual meeting of the association in the autumn.

What does the assosiation do?
We organise events for children and their families and financially support events organised by the kindergarten, such as excursions.
I don't have time to participate.…
Participation is entirely voluntary. The easiest way to contribute is by paying a membership fee.
Why is a membership fee collected and what is it used for?
Membership fees are one way of funding activities. All the money goes to the children!
This is just a woman thing!
Both fathers and mothers are wanted for membership and activities. Membership is personal.
It is also hoped that fathers will participate in government activities, so join us!

According to the Associations Act, an association must keep a register of all members. You can register as a member or support member using the form below. Please fill in at least the fields marked ”mandatory". Remember to pay your membership fee or support fee!
