Coaches

A successful season for our players relies on the dedication of the volunteer coaches.  If you are interested in being a coach please indicate so on the player registration form or contact us at mountuniackemustangs@gmail.com.

Coaches who want to improve their skills as a softball coach should consider professional development through the National Coach Certification Program (NCCP).   Here are the NCCP Coaching pathways.

Coaches MUST complete the following coaching pathways to attend the following Championships:

Provincial Championship - Community Sport - Ongoing Participation

Eastern Canadian Championship - Competition - Introduction (Trained or Certified)

Canadian Championship - Competition - Introduction (Certified) 

Softball Nova Scotia offers several NCCP Coach Clinics, so please consider taking one of these clinics prior to the start of the season.
