Programs

Learn-to-Play (U7 and U9)

The LTP programs are our entry level programs where the focus is on softball fundamentals -  with an emphasis on FUN.  Softball skills are developed during game play and rules of the game may be modified to be appropriate for the age and skill level of the participating players.

In the 2024 season U9 is for players with birth years of 2015 and 2016.  This group will have a one hour session on the field, two days per week.

U9 - ball glove, helmet with cage, running shoes or cleats, ball cap and water bottle

Minor (U11, U13, U15)

Our Minor  program continues to develop the skills learned in the LTP program, but emphasis now shifts to understanding softball rules, strategy and game play.

Our goal for minor players is to provide a place for players continue to learn the game of softball in a fun, inclusive environment.  If we have sufficient players register in each age group we hope to join a league to play teams outside the community.   Minor teams will play 6 or 7 inning games 1 night per week and have practice time one night/week.

Minor is open to:

U11 - birth years 2013 and 2014

U13 - birth years 2011 and 2012

U15 - birth years 2009 and 2010

If necessary, groups may be combined to ensure there are enough players to field a team.

Equipment required:  ball glove, helmet with a cage, running shoes or cleats, ball cap and water bottle.
