1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading and using Mum's Assistant you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What Mum's Assistant Does

Mum's Assistant is a personal assistant app that helps mothers manage family life by:

• Generating a personalised morning brief based on information you provide

• Capturing and organising tasks, reminders and notices via voice, screenshots and email scanning

• Helping you delegate tasks to people in your network

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

• You must be 18 years or older to use this app

• One account per person — accounts are personal and non-transferable

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app or its backend systems

• Use the app to store or transmit harmful, offensive or illegal content

• Reverse engineer, copy or distribute any part of the app

5. Email and Data Access

When you connect your email account:

• You grant Mum's Assistant read-only access to scan for family-relevant emails

• You can revoke this access at any time from the Settings tab

• We will immediately stop scanning your email upon disconnection

• We are not responsible for any emails that are missed, misclassified or not detected

6. Limitations and Disclaimers

Mum's Assistant is a tool to help you stay organised. We are not liable for:

• Missed school notices, excursion deadlines or important dates

• Errors in information extracted from emails, voice notes or screenshots

• Any decisions made based on information provided by the app

• Loss of data due to technical issues beyond our control

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times or that it will be error-free.

7. Subscription and Payments

• Current pricing and subscription terms are displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings

• Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple's refund policy

8. Intellectual Property

• All content, design and code in Mum's Assistant is owned by Luke Becker

• You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the app without written permission

• Your personal data remains yours — we claim no ownership over content you create

9. Privacy

Your use of Mum's Assistant is also governed by our Privacy Policy available at: https://sites.google.com/view/mums-assistant/privacy-policy

10. Changes to the App

We may update, modify or discontinue features of the app at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app where possible.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
