The first 20 years of  www.joeLAB.com where we studied neural circuits and neuroimaging from the visual, auditory systems and oculomotor with motor systems during multisensory learning.  Since 2012, we are understanding how neurorehabiliation using music and dance in people with Parkinson's and attempting to understand the complexities of the disease and how to alleviate it.  Our collaborators are Canada's National Ballet School, Dance with Parkinson's Canada, Les Grand Ballet, Mark Morris Dance Studio DANCE FOR PD® in Brooklyn, NY.

Since 2024, we are beginning to examine language revitalization and learning Cree ways of knowing and being with our Cree colleagues in hopes to understand neural circuitry of speech acquisition and healing.
