Wow! What an amazing trivia. I was amazed that Quicktime can do all of this things. I am not even aware of it! Normally I am downloading another screen recorder to do that. One of them is Acethinker Screen Grabber Premium which captures the screen and audio without any hassle. For this, I will definitely try Quicktime. Thanks!

Thank you for sharing how to record from Multiple Camera in one PC. There is the Windows application for recording from Screen Capture and Webcam simultaneously, also have simple editing feature to sync up your recorded videos by audio tracks, simply adding Overlay track, Title then export your guide video or your performance, practice videos to show for others or just keep your own. Now you can download the 180days Trail version to have a try. :) => -multicam-capture/

NEW MultiCam Capture: Simultaneously capture great-looking video footage from two sources at once, like your camera and screen, or a webcam and a separately recorded audio track. There's no post-capture syncing required, making it seamless to quickly create software training, cooking demos, and unboxing videos!

Using back and front cameras at the same time will let you record what you are looking at and your reaction to it, or vlog commentary, at the same time. You can then edit them together in post. I can see it being quite useful for 'single take' vlogging rather than having to record the two views independently. Using combinations of back cameras at different focal length you can capture different perspectives for combining in post to give the ability to cut between wide and close up view of the subject. Ironically, for me at least, this is one feature that I never wanted that could have some value, if I was a vlogger...

Hello, I have a Python application that does object detection on videos from 2 CSI cameras attached to the Jetson Nano dev board. On one thread, the app captures frames from the 2 cameras (sequentially) with the following gstreamer pipeline

It seems that the heavy load is causing the cameras to block. The sample program uses 180% cpu and the nvargus-daemon process using another 135%, which leads to blocking behavior. If I run the same python program with return width and height halved in the gstreamer pipeline, then the cpu usage of the python program reduces to 75% (and nvargus-daemon process using 135%) and the program runs indefinitely (I ran it for 24 hours straight). The gstreamer command-line provided by @DaneLLL above uses about 85% cpu in addition to nvargus-daemon process. How can I reduce the cpu usage? Will using C++ help? Apart from using gstreamer library directly, is there another way to capture videos for an application in the Jetson Nano that uses the nvidia driver?

Now it's time to capture the segments you want from each of the four videos. By using the record button and clicking on the camera source to use its content in the recording track, you are able to edit your music video production.

A whopping one-third of time spent online is watching video content globally. Through the power of video, businesses and broadcasters are hard at work trying to capture as much of that attention as possible. One tried and true way they do this is by making their live streaming efforts more engaging. And one of the best ways to do this is to incorporate multiple sources, which refers to using a mix of a live audience and prerecorded content or a multi-camera setup.

Of course, there are challenges that come with this method of storytelling. More cameras equal more complexity. Multicam streaming requires linking all the different cameras to one central hub. That requires the use of multicam software so you can control multiple video cameras as once.

Multicam streaming requires more equipment, more data, and more people to run successfully. However, even with all of these extra needed resources, multicamera broadcasting is worth it. It can be achieved with a reasonable budget, allowing smaller teams to create immersive experiences.

MultiCam Capture Lite is a software developed by Corel Corporation that enables users to capture and record multiple video and audio sources simultaneously. Its intuitive user interface allows users to capture and edit videos with ease and efficiency.

MultiCam Capture Lite provides a simple solution for anyone who needs to capture and edit videos. It is suitable for individuals who want to record their latest gaming experience, businesses that need to produce instructional videos or for educational purposes, and anyone in between.

If attempting to do a multi-camera setup, it is necessary to use a multi-input capture card unit. This unit is put into an enclosure box, or installed directly into the computer if using a PC tower, and allows for multiple cameras to be brought into Production Truck.

Assess if you are wanting to use SDI cabling or HDMI cabling prior to purchasing a capture card. HDMI cabling is limited in the fact that it can only go up to 75-100 feet without a signal booster in between. SDI cabling can go up to 300 feet without a booster, making it a little bit more practical for longer runs of cabling.

Depending on if you went with an HDMI or SDI capture card, you should see your ports at the back of the Sonnet Echo Express box. In the below example, you can clearly see our SDI connections are visible and ready to use.

I've got seven podcast clips, 50 minutes long, that I am multicaming. I can do it, but it is mega laggy. The 1/8 and 1)16th options for the previews are not available, but I have taken off the master preview cam option (so it only shows the seven multicams select from).

I don't get why video is so resource heavy. '93 was the first handheld digital video recorder. Was that alien technology? 30 years later I can't run two instances of OBS without 16 gigs of RAM shutting down, and I can't multicam 7 videos. Not sure why I need a $10K rig just to post produce a home recorded podcast video, 2000 freaking 22.

I transcoded the files to NDx, which definitely made multicam run smoother for a bit, but then the whole thing repeatedely maxed out the harddrive, sometimes the CPU, and the video for the most part ran out of sync with the audio. The mp4 version of multicam was at least workable. Also, I tried the syncing option, it couldn't do it. After I sat there for a long time while it was seemingly working, I cancelled, and then it gave me an error saying it couldn't find the soundfiles. I tried repeatedly, even after manually syncing up all the files, and it failed. Manual syncing isn't accurate, wav forms aren't detailed like a daw, and you can't zoom in enough or place the wav form accurately enough for the difference not to be noticeable. No way are people manually syncing up videos using the audio.

I really think that you're underestimating and/or just underappreciating the complexity of what you're trying to do. There's nothing simple about a 7-stream multicam edit. I know you're just trying to be hyperbolic about the computer situation but the reality is that it doesn't matter what computer you're using, or even what editing software you're using, for that matter. Playing 7 streams of video at the same time is a huge demand on system resources.

I can appreciate the complexity of the Art, and acknowledge my complete lack of understanding. I am a musician. It would be handy if the program recognized the fact that I am an idiot attempting to multicam 7 ndx files and that my hard drive is literally melting, and then suggest proxies, or even force it, and also recognize and suggest the proper way to process variable framerate media to maintain audio sync etc. I'm sure the typical Premiere pro is aware of these things.

All of the RAW options provide outstanding image quality. Be mindful of storage needs, especially when dealing with uncompressed RAW formats. Some cameras require a separate, dockable recording module in order to capture RAW.

A robust data-management process may require extra resources in multicam production compared to typical single-camera shoots. The number of cameras to be backed up and shorter turnarounds that are common in multicam production can strain available resources but with a bit of pre-planning it can be a smooth process. For further reference, see our Production Assets: Data Management article.

Multi-cam

Capture two different focal lengths of the same subject at the same time. Recording using the ultra wide lens (iPhone 11 Pro Max, 11 Pro and 11 only) and the tele to capture both an establishing shot and a punch-in on your subject simultaneously. Or use any other combination of front and rear lenses for unrivaled multi-cam capture.

Focus & Exposure Controls

DoubleTake allows you to set and lock your focus and exposure on both cameras during multi-cam capture with our unified reticle. Just tap anywhere to set an area of interest with the reticle, then tap again to lock or unlock. The camera switcher lets you move between your A and B cams during a recording to adjust the focus and exposure for each independently of one another.

This code allows the user to determine cameras detected by the system, initialize the cameras, load appropriate camera settings, turn on the camera feed for visual check of angles and settings, capture videos, and visualize video framerates based on created timestamps files. See the Jupyter Notebook (.ipynb) for more information.

Creating multicam clips is similar to creating auditions and compound clips in the browser. Multicam clips can be made up of diverse media sources (different formats, frame rates, and so on). There can be multiple clips in any given angle of a multicam clip. 17dc91bb1f
