Some highlights of how PTO Funding is used include:

• Classroom Support: The Muir PTO budgets for special events, supplies, or anything the classrooms may need. 

• Social Activities: Your donations help to support family events, such as Back to School night, the Multi-Cultural Dinner, Muireka and grade-level events. Your donations ensure that we can provide snacks, games and prizes to our Muir community.

• Staff Appreciation:  As often as possible, we try to arrange for staff appreciation events at school. 

• Community Support: Gift card drive for holidays, funds for extra winter gear & resources for Muir students

• Support for the Muir Garden: The Muir Garden, and gardener-in-residence, Becky Hustad provide outdoor education to all classrooms. They have the opportunity to learn about and grow fresh vegetables and study about life in the garden. Check future Muir PTO newsletters for garden updates.
