I am Muhammad Salahuddin, a doctoral candidate at the University of North Dakota in the Department of Education, Health, and Behavior, focusing on Educational Foundations and Research. My dissertation examines faculty research motivation and success, specifically developing and testing research competence following productivity. I have a strong foundation in quantitative research methods, supported by certifications in Learning Analytics and Quantitative Research from UND.
I hold a Master of Philosophy and a Master of Education from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, where my work centered around formative assessment practices and educational research methodologies. My research spans a variety of topics, including faculty self-efficacy, research productivity, and the impact of technology on research success. I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles and presented at major conferences like at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE).
Currently, I serve as a Research Analyst with the Healthcare Workforce Group, UND, coordinating data collection, analysis, and workforce data management. Before that, I worked as a research assistant at the Bureau of Evaluation and Research Services (BEARS) and the Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET). Prior to this, I worked as an Assistant Specialist at Bangladesh's National Academy for Primary Education, where I was involved in policy development and research initiatives.
Through my academic and professional journey, I have developed a passion for improving educational practices and research in the U.S. and internationally. As an active member of AERA and ASHE, I continue to engage with the academic community to drive research and innovation in education. I wrote two bestseller books, “Action Research for School Level Development” and “50 Years of Education in Bangladesh: Elementary & Secondary Level” published in Bangladesh. My research works have been published in different national and international peer-reviewed journals.
