Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using any app developed by Muhammad Abdullah ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using our apps, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Versus AI or any of our other applications, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our apps for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the app or its content

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app

• Rent, lease, or sublicense the app

• Use the app to build a competing product or service

3. AI-Generated Content

Our apps use third-party AI models (from Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, and Google) to generate responses. You acknowledge that:

• AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate

• You should not rely on AI-generated content for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions

• The Developer is not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content

• Content generated through the app is subject to the terms of each AI provider

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our apps to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory

• Attempt to bypass security measures, rate limits, or usage policies

• Submit prompts containing sensitive personal data of third parties without their consent

• Violate any applicable law or regulation

• Violate the usage policies of any AI provider integrated into the app

We reserve the right to terminate your access if you violate these terms.

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Subscriptions:

• Pro subscriptions are billed through Apple and subject to Apple's payment terms

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's System Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by law

Image Credit Packs:

• Credit packs are one-time, non-refundable purchases

• Purchased credits never expire and are stored on your device

• Monthly credits (included with Pro) reset on the first of each month and do not carry over

• We are not responsible for credit loss due to device reset, data deletion, or app uninstallation

All purchases are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure

• AI responses will be accurate, complete, or appropriate

• The app will be compatible with all devices or operating systems

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use our apps.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

8. Third-Party Services

Our apps rely on third-party services including Apple StoreKit, Firebase, Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, and Google. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and materials in our apps are owned by the Developer or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The AI responses generated through the app may be subject to the intellectual property terms of the respective AI providers.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Pakistan, except where prohibited by local consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
