The 9th MUCLA National Conference will serve as a premier forum to examine the evolving convergence of libraries and digital technologies. Centred on the theme, "Envisaging Librarianship in Artificial Intelligence Era", the conference will address the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in a digital age on libraries, information services and knowledge management.

The Maharashtra University and College Librarians Association (MUCLA) was established in 2012 and formally registered under the 'Trade Union Act of 1926' on May 3, 2014. Founded to collectively address professional issues from a unified platform, the association is headquartered in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. MUCLA has successfully resolved numerous librarian concerns through correspondence and discussions with government bodies.

With a distinguished legacy dating back to 1964, the Department of Library and Information Science stands as one of the university's pioneering academic pillars.
